As each summer passed and Derek and Odette grew into beloved royalty, so did their love for one another until they showed the world the true meaning of everlasting love.

Odette loves strawberries and they are one of her favorite fruits! Strawberries are a delicious way to get one of your five a day!
Have you been strawberry picking before? Odette, Derek, Alise and all of her friends really enjoy collecting strawberries during the summer - they enjoy eating them too!
This SWANtastic summer recipe uses SWANderful strawberries and a white chocolate crumble to make a delicious desert during the sunny weather!
Ingredients:
• 50g (.4 cups) cornflour
• 60g (.48 cups) milk powder
• 50g (.4 cups) butter, melted
• 4 tbsp crème fraîche
• 20g (.16 cups) light brown soft sugar
• 100g (.8 cups) white chocolate, melted
• 20g (.16 cups) pistachios, chopped (optional)
• 400g (3.2 cups) strawberries
• mint leaves (optional), to serve
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 320F/160C/140C fan/gas 3.
2. In a bowl, mix together the milk powder, cornflour and half the sugar.
3. Melt the butter using your preferred method.
4. Add the melted butter and white chocolate to your dry mix and stir well until it forms a crumb like texture.
5. Scatter the crumb mix over a baking sheet.
6. Place the baking tray in the oven for 10 mins until golden.
7. Remove the tray from the oven and leave it to one side to cool.
8. Next, remove the tops of the strawberries and carefully cut them into quarters.
9. In a bowl, toss the strawberries in the remaining sugar.
10. Spoon your strawberries into different bowls, one for each serving.
11. Allow them to cure for 30 mins.
12. After 30 minutes, add a large spoonful of crème fraîche to the strawberry servings.
13. Scatter some pistachios over the creme fraiche if you are using them.
14. Take your crumble from earlier and scatter it over each serving.
15. Add some mint leaves to each serving to add a final flourish of flavor and color!
Brilliant Bird Feeders
The Swan Princess movies show us how loving our animal friends can be!
It can be great fun to watch animals grow and play outside and this activity will encourage even more animals to your garden by providing them with a delicious treat!
Make sure to keep an eye out for the birds after you have set the feeders up! You'll have to stand away from the feeder (or watch from inside) and be very quiet so that you don't scare them away!

You Will Need:
• Muffin Baking Tray
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 1 egg
• 1 cup milk
• 3 tbsp butter, melted
• 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
• 1/4 cup chopped bacon
• 1 small apple
• 1/2 cup peanuts
• 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries
• 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions:
1. Chop the nuts, seeds, fruit and bacon very finely (or use a food processor).
2. Add the now chopped ingredients to a bowl with all of the flours and mix them all together.
3. Next, stir in the wet ingredients.
4. Carefully pour the "muffin" mix into a greased mini muffin tin.
5. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Once they have cooled, you can freeze any muffins you don’t put out right away to distribute later on.
6. Place your tasty bird feeders outside on tree branches, birdhouses or anywhere else that you can think of!
Fantastic 4th July Fireworks Fun!
As we all know, Prince Derek and Princess Odette have put on some beautiful shows and events over the years, some of which include SWANtastic firework displays!
This fantastic firework craft is a great activity for everyone, especially those celebrating 4th July! You can even make loads of them to line a walkway for people or use them as decorations to make fantastic firework displays!
You Will Need:
• Cardboard tubes (toilet paper, paper towels, gift wrap, etc.)
• Paper (construction, scrapbook, etc.)
• White glue
• Skewers (or straws)
• Things to decorate with - sequins, glitter, ribbons, pipe cleaners, stickers, colored pencils, felt tip pens, gemstones, etc.
• Optional: paint, paint brushes, tissue paper for “flames”
Instructions:
1. First, take your tubes and decorate your tubes in any way that you wish. If you can't decide, we have listed some SWANtastic ideas below:
• Paint them in bright colors.
• Draw your favorite characters from The Swan Princess - why not use Puffin or Odette as a Swan to represent flying? Or use Speed to see how fast he can go!
• Draw stripy or swirly patterns in glitter glue or draw the designs in plain glue then sprinkle loose glitter over the tube before it dries. You could even try and add words and numbers to the tubes!
If you have used any materials like glue or paint, set the tubes to one side to dry (somewhere where they won't blow over and smudge your design before the roll dries).
2. Next, we need to make the top of the rocket. Draw a circle on a piece of paper and carefully cut it out. If you are decorating this piece, it might be easier to do this before the next step (just make sure to leave room for the "sealing" and cutting that you need to do in the next step).
3. Cut a slit from the edge of the circle to the center (the radius).
4. Roll the circle into a cone shape and secure it with glue (or a small piece of tape).
5. Glue the cones to the top of the rolls to make the rocket shapes.
6. Add a skewer to the bottom of the role for the “fuse”.
7. Finally, add red, orange and yellow tissue paper to the roll to make paper flames.
