Princess Tutorial

A Princess takes pride in the way she presents herself. However, a Princess does not define herself by looks. Her royal identity is recognized by her attitude, morals and life choices. A Princess is strong, but always kind and loving.

Of course, don't forget to curtsy to everyone you talk to! A curtsy is a sign of respect.

Move one foot behind the other (most commonly the right foot behind the left).

Your curtsy will have more stability if you plant the ball of your back foot on the floor, not just your toes.

Evenly bend the knees to lower yourself 4 to 8 inches. Do not curtsy so low that your knees come far apart, try to keep them close together.

Keep your back straight, do not bend forward or stick out your bum. Then straighten your knees to rise.

Now days we rarely wear full dresses that need to be moved out of the way to curtsy so just keep your hands to the side as you curtsy.

With a long or full skirt you can take each side in your hands and gently pull the skirt up so you don't risk stepping on it when you stand back up.

Bow your head! This is very important because it shows that you can be humble. Humility is a profound quality in a Princess.
