Wheels and Wishes Roller-skate Event
A new event with the Mascot Miracles Foundation this year, Odette headlined at the Wheels and Wishes party! She wore a shorter white feathered dress and her helmet so she would be safe while skating with all of the children.
As a special treat, guests could pose in front of our hand painted Swan Princess backdrop with Rothbart, Speed, and JeanBob! They haven't been seen in person this side of Chamberg since the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade of 1994!
With their mascot friends and all of the hero children the foundation serves they skated and danced and played laser tag!
Rothbart promised to be on his best behavior for the day but that didn't stop him from trying to recruit apprentices for the Forbidden Arts!
JeanBob spent the day trying to get a kiss from a princess. We still think you're a prince JeanBob! Albeit a very green one.
Odette and her princess friends loved showing off their matching face paint! Odette's had feathers, hearts, water swirls, and lots of glitter!
Felix Falcon of the Utah Falcon's Football Team joined Odette to disco dance.
This sweet princess taught Rothbart and JeanBob to dance! Much to JeanBob's chagrin, Rothbart was able to mimic the moves flawlessly! The silver necklace was a gift to JeanBob made by a guest. We think he looks dashing in it!
This princess friend loved trying on Princess Odette's heart locket. She remembered it from the Swan Princess film and was in awe to find the picture of herself and Prince Derek Odette keeps inside.
While Rothbart tried to teach many a guest the Forbidden Arts, most took after Prince Derek and vanquished Rothbart with the power of good instead.
Puffin loved giving hugs! He was voted the "most huggable" by the children there.
It was a magical disco roller-skate night and we hope to see much more of these four soon!
Cowabunga Bay
Cowabunga Bay water park hosts the Mascot Miracle's Foundation end of summer bash! Odette asked Bridget to use a bit of the Forbidden Arts to trade her feet for a fin so she could swim the night away, no swan transformation required.
The mascots and their heroes, children with life threatening conditions, take over the park for the night. They swim in pools, a lazy river, and many a water slide.
Odette gave each child a magical wishing bracelet. When it was tied to their wrist each child made a wish. When the bracelet falls off their wish will come true!
Odette loved the bubbles and the dancing! The entire park stopped what they were doing to dance the Macarena in the water. It was fin-flipping SWANtastic fun!
