About Swan Princess Partners, LLC.

Jared Brown and Seldon Young founded Nest Entertainment in the late 1980s, to produce animated Bible films, primarily for the Christian market. With Richard Rich as director and Lex de Azevedo composing music, around 70 short animated films, including the Hero Classics, were created. Sony joined forces with Nest and Rich Animation Studios to produce the fully animated feature film, The Swan Princess. The theatrical release of this classic tale was November 18, 1994. This same team of talent, now Sony Pictures, Swan Princess Partners LLC and Streetlight Productions, have continued to create 12 more animated feature films. Eight of them part of the Swan Princess series. These were released directly to DVD. In 2012, J Bateman joined the team as the composer of music.

The Swan Princess is one of the strongest animated Princess franchises in the world!  It was the #1 selling video in the United States upon its original release and with its sequels has sold millions of DVDs globally.  Distributed by SONY Pictures Worldwide, the original film was the last animated feature length film to be released in theaters that was created entirely of the traditional hand-drawn animation.  With the addition of its sequels, The Swan Princess is one of only a few major franchises with 8 or more 80-minute length movies.

The company continues to focus on creating and producing family content that is value driven, which has resulted in a huge base of fans throughout the world who remember the films fondly and can sing, by heart, many of the fantastic songs from the series, including the Golden Globe nominated song of love lasting “Far Longer Than Forever.”  The Swan Princess Producers constantly encounter millennials who proclaim “I grew up with The Swan Princess!” and they are excited to learn that the royal stories of Princess Odette and her family continues today.
