New Year, New Goals
Spending time with these school children was such an enriching experience that all of the royal family and friends are making their 2019 new beginning about giving to others!
We would love for the fans to join us!
You can be a part of The Swan Princess new beginning by:
1. Making attainable service goals that you can keep throughout the year.
2. Giving happiness, friendship and time, not gifts and money.
3. Sending your service and giving stories to Odette@SwanPrincessSeries.com for us to share with fans.
Here are some of the royal household's ideas of how to serve others -
JeanBob - When someone is carrying or moving something difficult, jump in and help them
Bromley - Always pull your weight, do as much work as you can so that others don't end up doing it for you
Uberta - Recognize the good things about others and give them compliments
Alise - Have good manners and a good attitude, hold open doors for people, always say thank you and apologize when you hurt someone
Derek - Keep commitments made to others. Don't make plans that you can't keep
Puffin - Find those in need and go on a special mission to help out. For example, offer to bring a meal to someone who is sick or help with yard work/housework for someone who is elderly or a widow/widower
All this kindness takes energy. Here is a healthy breakfast idea to start each day off right:
- 3 eggs
- 3 fresh basil leaves
- 4 tablespoons feta cheese
- 1/2 ounce spinach
- 1/2 ounce red bell pepper
- 1.5 teaspoons coconut oil
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon capers (optional)
Dice red pepper, spinach, basil and feta. Wisk together with egg, pepper, salt, curry and capers. Melt coconut oil over medium-high heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble.
Spending time with friends and family is a great way to start the new year.

5 to 6 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14-ounce) can corn, drained
1/4 medium onion, diced
1 avocado, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons diced jalapenos (more or less, according to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup Italian dressing
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Tortilla chips, for serving
