Stage Adaptation of The Swan Princess

Stage Adaptation of The Swan Princess

The first, licensed stage adaptation of The Swan Princess was performed this last weekend in Haverhill, MA. at the DeAngelis Studio of Music.

The DeAngelis Studio of Music opened in 2009 to children and adults interested in learning about music. The skilled teachers at DeAngelis offer many educational programs including guitar, piano, drums, voice, recording and theater instructions.

The acting and theater Director, Amanda Beveridge, loved The Swan Princess as a child. She had the integrity and foresight to contact us and ask for a license to perform a live stage adaptation. We were thrilled to have such a worthy school program and talented Director put on the first, licensed, live performance of The Swan Princess!

Check out the playbill below:

The lead performers, Sasha Orr (Princess Odette) and Logan Schofield (Prince Derek) were talented and passionate. With such an amazing cast the show was sure to turn out perfect!

Swan Princess Producer, Seldon O Young, attended the performance this last weekend. He had a great time watching these young performers act out his classic story!

Seldon's favorite character in the Swan Princess series is JeanBob. He was very impressed with the eight-year-old young lady, Vintage Veth, who played JeanBob on stage. Not only was her whole performance done with an adorable French accent but she memorized an astounding number of lines! Additionally, Jean-Bob was accompanied by Speed, the turtle, competently portrayed by Adrianna Lane...very entertaining!

There were some wonderful voices. The greatest song of the performance was "Mr. Nice Guy" which included vocals and dancing by Sam White and Violet Veth.

After the show, Seldon took pictures with the cast and presented the Director and DeAngelis studio with an original, signed art cel from The Swan Princess movie.

Take a look at our art cel collection that is available to own here!

The Swan Princess

I have the same two questions as previously posted. Is there a published stage production available for schools to use and obviously the fees?

Courtney

I have the same question as Jane. Would it be possible to get the rights for the show and if so how much would they cost?
